Step 4: Cut Main Shoulder Pieces. These will be traced onto your 5-8mm EVA foam. Trace one of each pattern piece 1, 2, 4 and 5 with your ballpoint pen. Trace piece 3 once right side up, and then flip the pattern over and trace it again. Trace two of piece 6, but only mark the hole centres on one of them.

Use a craft knife to cut out the foam. To make the edges look finished, use a thinner foam (3mm) and cut 2 1/8-inch strips that are the length of the ends of the pattern (10 and 13 inches for mine). I used super glue to attach the foam strip to the main part of the bracer. I found it easiest to glue about 2-3 inches at a time along the edge.
